REDCAL
REDCAL is a biostimulant based on selected sugars that trigger plant metabolism to better perform in Ca uptake, translocation and filling in plant tissues like fruits. The bioactive carbohydrates (mono-di and polysaccharides), in combination with the synergic effect of the Zn and B, act at metabolic level to favour Ca translocation from the source to the so-called sinks organs.
Experimental results show that the application of REDCAL increases transpiration rate (i.e. stomatal conductance) during flowering and fruit growth, the phenological phases in which the plant conveys calcium into the fruit structures.
The unique SC formulation ensures a high efficacy without affecting sensitive plant tissues, for instance flowers, brand-new fruitlets and young leaves.
REDCAL, thanks to its content in C-based compounds, improves concomitantly fruit quality parameters like Brix grade and firmness.

– In foliar application, REDCAL helps the crop to reduce calcium-related physiological disorders, acting quickly on the internal metabolism and resulting on a better crop performance. A complementary effect of REDCAL is the positive impact on firmness and taste. Being gentle to sensitive plant tissues such as flowers, suggested applications start as of pre-flowering stage.
